Employers are interested in the skills and competencies you gained from your degree, therefore it is very important that you can recognise them and present them effectively on CVs and in interviews:
- Ability to critically evaluate the alignment of an organisation’s operations to deliver its desired outputs
- Creative problem solving and sound, logical decision making.
- Self reliance, initiative and the ability to manage time, projects and resources
- Effective communication in a range of contexts and through a range of media
- Ability to apply basic principles and concepts of statistical data
- Ability to apply relevant tools and theory to understand customer expectations and support appropriate marketing mix decisions

Postgraduate Study
Postgraduate study may enable you to explore aspects of Business Studies in greater depth or to study a new subject. A post graduate qualification, either academic or vocational, is required to enter many fields of work related to Business Studies such as accountancy, human resources and IT.
