Careers & Employability is the University of Lincoln Careers Service. We are here to provide our students with the information, advice and guidance required to produce highly employable graduates in an increasingly competitive labour market. In order to achieve this vision we would like to recruit the assistance of those that know, namely you the employer. In return we offer a range of services that may be of interest, ranging from recruitment, raising your profile, and facilities.
After a successful event in Februrary 2012 our careers and opportunities fair ‘Find Your Feet’ will be back again this year for another day that brings together employers, students & graduates to network and get to know what each other have to offer. More details will be coming soon to let you know how you can be in attendance and take part. In the mean-time check out our video aimed at students & graduates to give you a taster of the event.
‘Following the success of the University of Lincoln Graduate Internship Scheme, in which we were successfully awarded funds to support small businesses and businesses from key industrial sectors with a £1000 bursary to recruit graduates for a 3-6 month internship; I am pleased to announce the extension of this funding. This scheme is now available to businesses of any size and any sector to help support and encourage our graduates into employment whilst at the same time, supporting the local economy in such challenging climates. If you feel that your business/ organisation, could benefit from recruiting the talents of some of our recent graduates, and you would like to take advantage of this incredibly successful scheme, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with Mark Stow, Careers and Employability Services Manager, University of Lincoln: mstow@lincoln.ac.uk, 01522 837829.’
