Experience and Perception of Graduates
‘Graduates vary enormously. The ones that are employable are those that can communicate and can think more corporately. Many graduates are out of touch with reality, and are very often not able to articulate themselves very well at interview. They can find it difficult to understand that it is experience that employers want not just a degree. I would say that on the whole, the ones that have actually worked while they are studying are much more adjusted to the reality of the just what it is to work and are much more likely for employers to recruit once they have graduated.’
